This series, entitled Deconstructing Kandinsky, is comprised of a rendition of Kandinsky's Composition VIII, but with color only in the background. The "Blow Ups" are parts of the painting made larger on gridded paper. The other parts of the series also refer to Kandinsky's painting. Shown here in a gallery.

Rooster on the Farm Series

I started this series when I found a little English pitcher with a rooster on it. Making a realistic representation of a stylized image interested me. The context of a particular image interests me a lot also.
